This service is a 60 minute sound meditation to promote relaxation and preparedness for your home birth. This service takes place in your home, preferably in the same space as where you plan to birth so as to build a positive and calm association with your birth space.
Within the 60 minutes you can expect to be guided through gentle breathwork (which you can use during labour and birth), progressive muscle relaxation, guided visualisation and sound immersion. Everything guided in our session is designed to be implemented on the big day. Our session ends with a touch of facial massage, because mummas, it’s nice to be treated!
Bookings limited to Mondays-Fridays between 10am-4pm
What I bring with me:
A single size meditation futon, pillow & bolster set for you to relax into;
A small collection of instruments including crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, chimes and ocean drum;
Essential oils and palo santo to enhance relaxation (please let me know in advance of any allergies or preferences to not use these).
What you need to prepare:
Block out 2 hours in your calendar - this allows for 30 mins set up/pack down either side of our session.
Ensure you have your desired birth space semi-prepared with space to lay out the futon
A sheet to cover the bedding I supply and your favourite blanket to keep warm.
